Thanks to our customers and beta users great feedback, we have been rolling out new features to Conduit at a furious pace. We’ll be posting another blog entry with more details including a new product walkthrough screencast, but we thought we’d expose a few quick highlights here.

A complete redesign of the interface:

We have given our user interface a complete overhaul from top to bottom. This allows us to easily add new features and screens to the interface while still maintaining focus on simplicity. Some of the key interface changes include:

  • pulling the essential vulnerability information into the primary dashboard
  • customizable tables for vulnerabilities and assets
  • inline editing of asset data
  • caching of dashboard graphs to increase performance
  •

We also added many new features to the Asset tab of Conduit. This new functionality gives our customers a lot more power when managing large amounts of assets discovered by their vulnerability assessments. New asset functions include:

  • tagging many assets at once (bulk tagging)
  • scoring many assets at once (bulk prioritization)
  • search across all assets

  • more asset details within asset details page
  •

Jira tickets made simple and fast. Our updates to the Jira connector now include inline bug creation from the vulnerability details page. By adding this functionality we discovered through great feedback from our customers what data makes this most useful and lightens the burden on their security staff. Some of the highlights include:

  • dynamically pull required fields from Jira into bug creation form
  • dynamically pull Jira users into bug creation form for assignment
  • pull in customized Jira fields into bug creation form
  • inline calendar for assigning due dates to Jira bugs
  •

There’s been a lot of work going on here and too many features to list them all. We hope this gives you a sneak peek behind the curtains of Conduit development. Stay tuned here for a more detailed post on the new feature set that includes a screencast. Also watch out for our new open API being developed to give you complete ownership of your vulnerability and asset data in SCAP format!
